i use regular notes instead of single notes because the later refer to notes that are not part of a chord (2 or more notes at the same time), since rice maps don't exclude chord i use regular notes instead, it's how a lot of mania people call them
also - what are "regular notes"? would expand the short description, after a quick search i can see that they're single tap notes so i would probably clarify that
before this is added i'll add mode-specific descriptor applicability
