if you just go hard and Don't Stop going hard youll be consistently Going Hard and thats how good maps are made

yeah 01:24:013 (1,2,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - this was a result of me not actually testplaying the map for a while and thinking this was cool enough, when playing its absolutely underwhelming and does not feel creative at all

as for the rest then it seems like its mostly about being more creative with slider shapes and patterning? if so that's pretty understandable as at least for the contrast i wanted the map to feature each prominent instrument change as something that didn't feel as filler (therefore why the organ parts aren't easy to play through)

but yeah thanks the feedback is pretty helpful, the hard thing is keeping a balance between consistency and creativity which is still hard for me and i don't want to just strive for mediocrity

There could have been more
1) contrast between sections

2) more variation in patterning in special places such as 01:24:013 - (currently feels the same as everything before even tho you tried that stack thing, cuz of the hard fix on axis movement) and 02:26:371 - (could have come up with something more cool, at least add some shapes so it stands out more from things before and after)

Intensity could have been managed a bit better, 01:55:023 - this is an overkill for a slow part for example, 01:59:165 - this section looks bland rhythm-wise, things like 07:19:871 - could've had more emphasis on strong sounds through the reduction of spacing on weak ones

Also the map becomes progressively more boring imo cuz the song eventually starts to pick up the pace and you just don't bring up enough fresh ideas onto the playfield, a bit more creativity would've made things better.

That's just my "proper" (hope it is for you) feedback from mapper's point of view, overall, its not a bad map, but i don't think its great either, something in-between, song is cool and its kinda fun to play so that's why players loved it i guess

i also am accepting proper feedback on this map cuz most players enjoyed it a lot so its surprising to see a divide on the ratings here

there are two 99 acc scores on this already

i blame the song cuz i had to alternate between the organs and drum when timing it since the vocals are so off + i was required to time to the drums whenever they happened and i couldnt just time to the drums when there weren't any drums so its really dumb to try and simplify this when it works just well with slider leniency

+ it literally doesnt affect gameplay at all so yea i didnt make the map for people to look at it in the timing tab after ranked

u mapped to vocals and organ which are both smooth timing and then timed to the drums for no reason creating 40ms gaps so i dont blame the song actually

blame the song having shitty timing lol
