@MonsieurSebas I agree, that's my mindset more or less, I was just mildly surprised because I don't observe a high portion of this site's userbase to apply that mindset to ratings of all maps

however looking at the names of ppl who rated this it makes sense tho as semaphore said

I don't think the people who know this map are rating it from a purely mapper's perspective

if someone has made a great map to play, i also think they've made a great map overall

@AJT u see i think ppl separate the mapping and playing points of view too much. They r not innately separate, hell they r even more overlapping than most ppl give credit.

this is one of my favourite maps to play so i'll give 4.5 but i'm not seeing what makes this more than a 3.5 from a ""mapping perspective""
