the song is great and the choices fit it nicely like the overmapping/extended slider/slidershape usage and the additive hitsounds its all quite tasteful and artsy imo!!
02:17:684 - if anything id say in this section the rhythm could be better for the unique vocal pattern
im much more a fan of making the rhythm intuitive and hitsounding the instrumental accurately, this section 02:08:884 (1) - is much better than the first one because of this imo. rhythm is accurate & intuitive to read and still interesting because of all the vocal variations.
i generally snap drum hits accurately and try to create well fitting vocal rhythms around that with more or less simplification, but its interesting to see how the opposite approach can look with slightly early/late hitsounds on the drums and very accurate vocals
im pr sure the first 2 minutes were mapped at some later point cause i had a file with just the rest (may be one of the reasons the climaxes feel nerfed)
i like some of the more circle heavy sections for contrast 02:55:434 - and generally pocket handles rhythm much more deliberately than i see in other tech maps, aside from a little spam here 01:42:834 (1,2,1,2,1,2,3,1,2,1,1) - i like the choices
very tasteful design choices and good craftsmanship as always
storyboard is so cute
ahahh i cant believe ive never looked at this before
the choice to time and map and rank something like this is super sick and you gotta respect the dedication, shoutout to the bns too
16:40:355 (1,1) - 😭😭 unserious
