every djpop map from this one onward is the exact same [2]

i feel like this does the bare minimum which is already great for 2007

for me this has always been a case of "i know how bad this is in every possible sense but i'm still having a good time playing it"

it's weird seeing such a high rating for this

the thing about this map is that it was the first case of "a map doesn't need to be good to be iconic, it just needs to have iconic things in it" in osu (other than wizards in winter which i'm not even sure if it counts) and i appreciate it a lot

Yea ok I spent years writing this down as "lol le epic gimmick low AR map but people are hyped cuz 2007" but this does indeed go hard at some parts even if it wasn't intentional

I understand the intent but at the same time I'm left wishing that maps like this one attempted to make a compromise between the art and its playability

this map actually feels like a boss battle

i was like "i dont get it" and then the kiai happened

i believe this might be a good beatmap

its maps like these that i feel like i'm just not getting something in mapping because everyone in this comment section is speaking weird languages and i just see a pretty cool map

my heart grew in size 3 times when i saw this map

it's pretty good when you dont think about the fact 7 out of 10 maps for the next 2 years after this attempted to look exactly like it
