therapeutic mapping
the vibes take me back to a better time and i often find myself really craving to play this map and dive in. i can see how objectively it's just a kinda good alt map but i'm incapable of seeing it as only that
i wish i could have this mindset of alt mapping

Considering this was submitted in September 2011 it was really just patchouli and Val creating fully realised alternator maps in this sr range. Other mappers experimenting in the space (names that come to mind include 100pa, atk1992, and v2b) were still testing the waters while the blueprint was already being laid out.

@quaternary there were some mappers that went the extra mile in the era before per object sampleset (like some inis mappers)

oh and the hitsounding is simple but really nice and i keep coming back to it for the hitsounding. predates per-object samplesets so they did what they could
classic. on the whole its very enjoyable but the awkward patterns like 00:33:441 (5,6,7,8) - and 03:09:552 (2,3,4) - really really stick out super hard. i guess it was 2012 people hadnt figured this shit out yet
this is a pretty enjoyable map but can someone legitimately explain why this has like a 3.9? it didnt really hit that hard for me
