(i couldn't find/download the maps u r talking about other than the pretender, either due to dead link or literally just not showing up anywhere but) this is fair i think
true but undeniably this map was *the* originator of the cutstream abuse mapping style, and the one that directly inspired hanzer to map miss you in the way he did
but then people tend to focus more not on the map that's the root of the idea but the map that expand on the idea and execute it successfully; you don't see as many people that shill dksslqj's ExaVid (or Neurotoxin) as the people that swear by the greatness of The Pretender
"i might get crucified for this but Lan's Extra is what people think HanzeR's Miss You is" i think thats kiiiiinda true but the concepts that they share are taken in Vastly different directions and for diff ends
in this map, its used in the context of further reinforcement of the jagged/"sluggish"/high contrast movement speed whereas in miss you they're used for the representation of the rapid pitch or instrument changes or just straight up for segmenting improvised rhythms
"Awesomesauce (1)" True
lets go Lan [3]
lets go Lan [2]
lets go Lan
it does, but osu api:
shouldn't omdb use the guest mapper feature on the osu site
when rc only allowed 0.5x to 2x sv
its pretty cool
byoing
Lan's diff uses such a cool idea. I'd honestly never expect it to work as well as it does
no ur right
i might get crucified for this but Lan's Extra is what people think HanzeR's Miss You is
