gameplay > how cool the map is
like it's not bad obviously, but i really don't see the reason why this is best of 2022 when the gameplay is monotonous
i don't doubt that the map has lots of effort put into it and has a lot of thought behind it, but the two difficulties i played coming from a gameplay perspective fall so flat -- it's incredibly boring and uninteresting imo
in act 4 in particular it just felt like i was doing the exact same thing over and over again, with pretty much zero variation until the ending (which comes out of nowhere as a result)
cool easter eggs and interesting patterns, gameplay itself was kinda mid though
just wanna bring ppls attention to the arrow sliders that point to the next object in act 3b 04:01:890 (1) they are very funny
