This map is so fun to play I didn't realize the song was actually mostly swing until after it was already ranked. I swear this is a core experience for anyone mapping at low bpm. Always double check your rhythm isn't swing.
I don't think the map is particularly worse because of it though, even if rhythm is simplified to 1/4 for the most part. The hitsounds help to mask this quite a bit. At least the section starting at 05:15:565 (1) - is mainly accurate 1/6 and goes incredibly hard.
Difficulty and movement is well managed. I didn't notice any unfair choke points, and it felt like it was my fault whenever I missed. Visuals are a mix of loose and tight but internally consistent, not much to nitpick here besides personal preference in style.
Overall, a very cool interpretation of an absolute banger of a song. Still, I'm curious what a map of this with strictly accurate rhythm would look like.
It's a shame that this never ended up getting ranked. This is one of those maps that I regularly come back to because it's very fun to play and the song is great. The storyboard also complements the song and map beautifully without being overly intrusive. Not to mention, this has like the cutest custom spinner that I've ever seen.
