I was kinda surprised how easy it is to map like this with a really exaggerated aim style like it took me 2 good sessions and I was done whilst a lot of my other maps with songs closer to my heart and much more thought put into them sit unsubmitted in my library while I look for inspiration for months. I think I just enjoyed the change in pace with being able to sit down and grind something out after a long dry spell.
As for the contents of this map I'm torn about how I feel overall, on one hand I find the ranked section to heavily lack what this map achieves, despite there being mappers definitely competent enough to pull this off if they were willing to put in the effort, which was the main goal I set out to achieve with this + last blue sky + masterpiece. On the other hand I ranked a few other things this year and got a lot of projects done with exponentially more thought and effort thrown in which those aim maps completely overshadowed, unfortunately that's just how it is when you begin pumping out more content into the game instead of sporadically ranking 1 or 2 things a year, that does demotivate me.
honestly i don't rly fuck with the bursts 00:51:094 in this section at all but 03:07:821 -> to end is so cool to play when u get in the zone and I god damn love this 04:19:094 (1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,1) - I usually come back to look the leaderboard every now and then to see if any top player has actually defeated this map
idk for me i just prefer original uta to every icdd afterwards, something like this was honestly okay and had its little hype moments but it was like what the 4th yomi yori at the time within a span of 2 years? at that point just map something else the library was so unexplored compared to what it is now
like this is why I want this site to exist like how is someone's love letter to a beautiful album like this just hidden in the sea of ranked with little to no attention and no feasible way to get this recommend to you from the osu website, this has been in ranked for 2 months and I haven't heard a single soul mention it to me for that entire period and I would've just completely missed it if it wasn't rated here
