on top of that it fits the atmosphere of the song well
what I meant is, the map is interesting and non-generic, but does so without being offensive to barely anyone (at worst a few 2-2.5's; meh, but not horrendous). that's relatively rare
the sheer number of 4-5 votes, probably the more significant point, idk about beyond "it's good in a unique way, and few maps manage that". I think there was a social phenomenon of everyone rating it / praising it at some point
for me the selling point of the map is stuff u already brought up: "its good fun & xilver pulls some cool stuff out of the song with movement & playfield usage"
i appreciate that it is complex in an accessible way, though i am a bit surprised this has as many votes as it does
blixys likened hokori yuki to "a weird slithering creature" when i asked them abt it. is the worminess of this map part of the appeal for you guys too
kinda agree with totallywaffles. i can agree that some higher charting maps feel somewhat inoffensive/safe but this map feels fairly unorthodox in comparison to a lot of the other stuff around it. what counts as "truly great" vs. what counts as "just good with wide appeal" is super nebulous and will prob depend on who you ask, but the impression that i got was that most people (judging from comments and the amount of 4.5s and 5s) consider this the former
5/5 is the most voted rating on this though so idk about that when it comes to the tippy top
omdb top charts are not about being explosively good they're about being good and inoffensive
maybe somethings going over my head but im scratching my head at this being in top10. like dont get me wrong i like this map, its good fun & xilver pulls some cool stuff out of the song with movement & playfield usage...... but top10 ever??????????????? top10 ALL TIME??????
is it just a vibe thing or is there more here that im not seeing. honest question because im not trying to poohpooh this map, id like to come around & better understand what ppl see in this
holy mother of climb
I don't know how but I think this map managed to hypnotize me
This map is mad fucking underrated
bumped to a 5 this shit so good
The movement and rhythm being literally perfect too like pick a damn blessing
so psychedelic so hypnotic and no one has ever done it again
ok i can rate this now
xilver maps are so fascinating
still have no idea how to rate this
> this is kind of like music for 18 musicians

this is kind of like music for 18 musicians

what i wanted jikan wo tsugu to be
my favorite Xilver15's map
the Minimalism music genre if it was an osu beatmap
this is one of those 5 minutes long maps that feels like its only 2 minutes long
I felt literally 0 mouse drift in this map this means I have the best grip
idk man mouse drift went craxy on this map like it was the grand prix or what
I almost died on stream playing this map it was crazy
time signature being slightly staggered at 9/4 makes it feel a LOT less repetitive
maybe that sjust me but i need an excuse to justify liking this map even more than i already do
im sorry for sleeping on this map
maps are made to be played
very cool
the map spanning from 03:59:409 (1) - to the end is actually insane
i think if you shot at a police car it would make this map look pretty swagcore
