hey

welcome back to omdb. after a year of being down, Luscent and I are proud to bring the site back to life. Luscent will now be overseeing the site, taking care of it, working on it, and making it a good experience for everyone. this is useful for me since this allows the site to exist while I can continue focusing on non-osu! projects. that being said I expect to occasionally contribute to the site on a very casual basis.

these are some features to look forward to in the near future.

• a reviews feature, intended for longer-form serious/critical posts about maps. this will allow those who hate comments on this site to safely ignore them while still having map commentary available
• map preview that allows you to see a map in-browser
• browser extension that integrates OMDB into the osu! website, allowing you to see ratings and rate maps
• a random-map-of-the-day or random-map-of-the-week thing
• import data from winteright
• users who request blacklist lose rating/commenting access
• improved reporting and moderation

lets make thinking about maps great again. hope everyone enjoys!
