though i will say that previously i've used just the simple descriptor for that
sure i'll go for it
@lowaccuracySS perhaps it should be called consistent difficulty?
id 47 for the parent descriptor*
I think this is salvageable- it just needs a more pointed and direct description and perhaps a different name, (something like the opposite of the progression descriptor.) maybe like "Consistently difficult gameplay that caters towards one skillset."
by the way, put id #47 for this descriptor
ok yeah i agree with all of the below whoops dklfjdkfjd probably not that salvageable, thanks for the thoughts :)
I think this could be good if it was specifically for maps that are consistently difficult throughout the map, not just anything thats long. Sort of like the opposite to the difficulty spike descriptor. That would probably need a new name though, since people generally associate anything long with consistency.
marathon descriptor exists and thats literally what consistency suggests
http://omdb.nyahh.net/descriptor/?id=40
some examples of maps that would carry this descriptor would be beneficial cus the way i see it marathon would already imply that ur ghonna be playing for a long period of time. maps that center around a skillset in poarticualr could already be tagged with that specific skillset anyways
Nah consistency too easy to confuse w other notions
wouldn't this be too interchangeable with marathon + whatever you're trying to get consistent at?
the "stamina" tag denotes a single kind of consistency map (tapping consistency); given that there are maps designed with testing consistent application of skill in mind that don't focus on tapping consistency (or more accurately in some cases, just limit-testing raw finger strength) I feel like this would be a good addition overall
