followpoint spacing
pending| Name | followpoint spacing |
| Short Description | Objects are spaced apart consistently, guided by followpoints. |
| Long Description |
Followpoints appear when objects are a certain distance of osu!pixels apart. A map with followpoint spacing considers these distances when choosing spacing between objects. Most clear when using skins with discrete, centred followpoints, such as the dot-style followpoints of the 2008 default skin. Followpoint spacing maps usually, but not always, space out followpoints evenly between objects, so that for skins with discrete, centred followpoints, the followpoint appears at the exact centre of two objects. Followpoint spacing maps often also utilize the maximum distance between objects where followpoints do not appear. This distance is equivalent to 1,00x distance snap at 1,6x base slider velocity. |

updated desc with more information, hopefully satisfying all asks from comment below
I'm down for this, this seems cool and legit
short desc:
- # -> a number
long desc:
- i'd probably explain exactly how the follow points work, since AFAIK they appear between objects when they're apart by a specific amount of pixels
- "single-dotted" to "discrete" since some skins use arrows
- specify default skin as a good example for a skin with clear followpoints
overall i'd also maybe make it clearer that it's an aesthetic choice somehow
i thought everyone did this ngl
Example map: /s/704360
Highly distinct, clear mapping technique which is clearly separate from all current descriptors.
