the "breaking circular flow for emphasis" part is such a fundamental concept that i don't think it deserves to be pointed out unless outstandingly well executed.
im not sure what you mean by clever and accessible patterns but regarding overlaps and repetition they only really occur in the solo which i agree is good, however a 20 second section out of a 4min map doesn't raise it from average to 4+/5
use of clever patterns that are immediately accessible to players to highlight specific phrases in the music, specifically with overlaps and repetition. also good awareness of circular flow: using circular flow vs back and forth to contrast melodies/instruments (look at the 20s or so starting at 01:47:689) and swapping circular flow mid-pattern to highlight specific sounds (01:30:889 (1) standout)
