my issue with it is more that it's really badly balanced difficulty-wise, but that's also the case with a bunch of older maps so ig I'm just biased lol
agree with doops, unfortunately - or fortunately, depending on your viewpoint, clipfarm maps (or pp maps, or slop, or whatever you wanna call it) are always gonna be popular.
If this is what it takes for new artists to hear about their music be in osu and for them to become FA, then so be it.
With that being said, this case is kinda special because Pinkshift isn't really adding anything new here. Glass beach is already a featured artist, all she did was do a (horrendous) cover of a good song. And if that's the first impression that mappers want to promote of a featured artist (with a terrible map at that), I think it's doing both the game and the artist a massive disservice.
I've changed my mind a bit on this after having played it, I prefer Yomi Yori.
With that said, I still like the visuals and some of the patterning, but yea it does feel like the spacing could've been handled better (especially in the post-chorus sections)
