was positively surprised by this, was expecting a borefest because i never really thought this song would make for an immersive map but it's pretty good overall
it's hard to say anything about this map without any bias because of how (im)popular it's gotten in here at some points, but i feel like in my years of osu!, few maps managed to catch my attention like this one regarding how accessible and well-constructed it manages to be at the same time. some parts can definitely feel a bit rough to play but it's still noteworthy how creative and fun a map can be while taking on an apparently tough song to try and map.
the only big problem i could find about this map is that once everyone starts talking about how good it is, it gets old fast and maybe that's why it can be divisive for some people. but every once in a while i have to either check it in the editor or play it to remind myself of its qualities

some good ideas. the overall aesthetic and the movement in parts like 01:15:821 (1) - give quite a bit of personality to this, definitely prefer this rather than someone making a flow aim farm mapset to cash in on the current meta. the parts where you use contrast and difficulty progression through a section are also quite enjoyable

i don't really feel like cs5 fits too much with the general purpose of the map in a playability sense, but that's a minor complaint. i don't really get some of the rhythm inconsistencies like 00:25:367 (1,2,3) - / 01:07:912 (4,1) - , feels deliberate but at the same time the purpose isn't too identifiable. stuff like 00:36:548 (1,2,3,1,2,3,4,1) - looks cool in the editor, but as a player it really plays so umcomfortably, kinda wish you kept a constant linear movement with these as you did with the sliders but i do get your idea. 02:51:276 (1) - the ending here isn't exactly BAD but it feels completely out of place in this map, having one single huge jump aim diffspike at the end seems really questionable to me especially when the song really doesn't showcase anything too different
for me this is the average monstrata map on a great wacky song which has its pros and cons, from one side he executes it pretty well and has some visually appealing patterns that are really fun to play with the song, but at the same time it may feel like he doesn't really explore the potential of the crazy rhythms of the song and plays it safe for the sake of making a comfortable alt map as is tradition
it's well executed within the scope, it just isn't groundbreaking or anything but it's still good and fun

i enjoy it when funny slider maps actually try and make it enjoyable for the player to hit the sliders so this is good

i think this might be the absolute limit you can push a mapping style that is literally from 2005 and it pays off big
im just glad more people are mapping this kind of song
it's bland but at least does bland right. it could be nino's version which really did not age well in that regard
aistre's diff is if hollow wings, angelhoney and ignorethis had a love child and the child grew up to be a crack addict who lives in the streets

this map would be a 4.5 without the 1/3 part that kinda dips my enjoyment
i'm fine with doing any weird al medley the only problem is the insane timing for most of them

revisiting this map I genuinely think the ending is my biggest gripe with it because the rest eventually clicked
