Even if it's a bit brainless, I think there's value in a map that goes so hard in one category. If you want to practice stamina, this map really caters to that while being catchy and not feeling like just pure practice/work. It's hard for me personally to have fun with it though because DT is just too fast for me and no mod is too boring, I need McOsu to get the full enjoyment out of it.
Not crazy about the zigzags and random feeling structure of the Collab, but there's some fun jumps in it for sure, I think it's the most interesting map to play in the set.
The only charm in this map's Insane diff is that it does everything wrong at the same time. AR0 with high SV sliders you need accuracy for, with with bad timing and tiny CS, all for a song that's hard to listen to more than once.
This map and track always pumps me up. I don't really know if Xtreme was supposed to be an alternative insane/extra to Nogard or the easier difficulty. The map styles are kinda similar, it's like one of the mappers were aiming to match the style of the other. I like the flow of Xtreme a little more, and the size of most of the streams are more manageable with DT, which makes me feel like maybe it was intended as the easier difficulty, until the end where it's almost as much of a burst hell as the Nogard diff, perhaps even harder to aim. As a set, I prefer if the difficulty alternatives actually feel more like alternatives, but hey, I like them both.
The mapper did a good job at making a kinda uninteresting song still interesting to play for 5 minutes, the map is fun. Really easy to get tripped up on the jumps that are after the hardest stream, I don't think they were as intuitive as the mapper thought they were. (At least they weren't to me, maybe because it's 4 minutes in.) I doubt it's a map I'd play much though because the song is just really mid to me.
It's funny how shortly after OD and AR was separable, some mappers thought it was a good idea to make the OD higher than the AR. It can pass on the hard since the beat is simple, and the map is pleasant; I'd definitely prefer the OD to be equal to AR at most, though. On a normal difficulty, it's unacceptable.
I probably wouldn't be a fan of popner's difficulty if it wasn't for hvick inspiring me with his score in early 2014. Insane goes a bit nuts with the doubles
Normal difficulty weirdly switches polarity which is rough for actual beginners, but I recall thinking it was interesting back when I was an easy spin farmer playing below my level
Hard difficulty is good difficulty for beginners, I think it could've had a little more pazazz since it's the top diff but whatever, it was 2011 and overall I think it functions fine with the song

It's so wild seeing old naturally talented mappers like nullPointLOL or 100pa- just show up, randomly make a few banger maps, then disappear forever
I think a lot of players won't like the seibei jumps, I personally find them really fun though

Despite being a scuffed early osu! map with pretty hard to follow streams, I legitimately have fun playing it when I'm in the mood for older stuff.

I don't think it's the strongest track in the Scott Pilgrim game, but of the Scott Pilgrim tracks Sushi mapped, it's probably my favorite map of them

If you're actively looking for a challenging old style map I think it's fine, none of the patterns are egregious

Some of the spacing and SV changes can be a bit weird, but I feel like players that are cool with a little old map jank will really dig this one
