i love the way this is mapped so much. its interesting and keeps you on your toes, but is also fun as hell! represents every sound and part of the song really well too. also very nice to look at visually. what i especially love about this map though is how it sort of flips what pishifat was talking about in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yQTsqNmKar8 on it's head. obviously it's an old video so some things are out of date, but nonetheless i feel like it's relatively relevant, especially the part about rhythm. the only reason im giving this a 4.5 and not a 5 is because im still iffy on the rhythm from 4:42 to around 5:13 because i feel like it goes in between focusing on vocals and the instrumental and it throws me off a lot when playing (probably doesn't help that i played the map with EZHD so it's harder to tell the rhythm)
playability wise? it looks uncomfortable as hell, and im not a fan, but i also just dont like to play maps of this style so im kinda biased (also i dont like the song so that contributes to bias as well). but i do respect the effort hi-mei put into the map to polish it in their own way, and it's definitely unique
coming back to this map i give it a 4.5 instead of a 4. while this isn't the most *perfectly aged map in the world* at some points for me, i feel like its important to put into context how it helped push the envelope when it comes to maps of this nature at the time

top diff has charm. aranel's diff is most fun imo, and pata-mon's diff is most well put together and nice to look at

i kinda get it. still some parts that aren't my favorite, but i get it
its kinda crazy that kowari's diff is mapped by kowari. a lot of the patterns feel straight out of a cheri map

also anyone giving this a really low rating i get. its more of an acquired taste compared to some other HW maps
i would say hollow wings is the queen of gimmick maps. that being said, this is not her best work. its definitely a hollow wings map though
