I don't see how the comboing of some jumps in a part of the map warrants a category, considering I wouldn't say it tells you essentially anything about the map at all, it would be as useful as if 1234 streams were a category.

Mirroring some key bullet points discord conversation about this with sebas:

- This is not really intended to be exclusive to farm maps. Maps like olc's ROBOT STOP definitely could use this descriptor since it uses 1-2 jumps quite prominently in one of it's sections
- It'd be good to have a wider range of descriptors to choose from so that we can more accurately describe entire styles. Think back to the "russian-style" descriptor proposal: one of the take-aways from that was that it'd be good to describe maps that are "russian-style" with more granular terms that'd together describe the maps better.
- For example a key part of the "sotarks-like" style, that mappers like Reform and SMOKELIND used to rely on heavily, definitely are 1-2 jumps. It's a pretty distinguishable part of that particular style.
- Yes the term has a connotation for farm maps because Sotarks spawned the term, but I don't see that as a problem. If anything, that reinforces the term's history as a source.
- I'm not happy at all with the idea of a "farm map" descriptor, because the way I see it that's then dependent on the state of the pp & SR system, and who knows how that'll look like a year or 5 or 10 from now.

Lets be real here, this term has connotations; no one is gonna call kami no kotoba a 1-2 jump map even though it has a lot of them.

So why not just say farm map at that point? And i also dont think tagging maps as "1-2 jumps" means much, Liek it doesnt tell me jack about the maps overall style, just what it has in the last 10 seconds of a chorus so i dont think its a good descriptor

i kinda think this is a bit similar to sharp aim descriptor
though i did had a thought when playing through a lot of maps that "comfortable aim" might also be a good new descriptor, cus i feel that there are jumps with wider angles that are still comfortable, though i didn't go through with proposing since it still has similarities to existing descriptors and a bit too subjective

@-Koish- NCing is absolutely 100% the name-sake of 1-2 jumps

@AJT hence the "typically" clause. either way awkwardness is subjective, and if u see a map with both 1-2 jumps and wide aim descriptors then that should be enough to derive how the 1-2 jumps are likely being used

Sorta speaks for itself; I think this would be extremely beneficial for discovery and categorization of a particular type of farm map.
