god i LOVE this map. "this is a stream practice" i don't feel like arguing that, because that's actually a part of the beauty. a map that is truly nothing but stamina for SIX AND A HALF MINUTES... it's a shame this map is basically one of a kind, but i'm just glad it happens to be 152bpm so i at least have a chance to fc it no mod ;D

goreshit - o'er the flood
i believe this was the second time i was exposed to goreshit (burn this moment obviously being the first) and i truly liked the song beyond how much the sound made me feel. i didn't feel happy or upbeat, i felt something complex and indescribable. i've learned more about semantic compositions and i can say that this map is truly beautiful

great songs. great length. great map. playing this doesn't feel like a 30 minute map of 3 star patterns like unforgiving, it truly feels like a challenge. thank you leader

goreshit - burn this moment into the retina of my eye
my first exposure to goreshit, and grumd makes sure to do an excellent job at representing their songs. waiter, more finger control + stamina combinations and a "normal display" (maps with no parts in it that underestimate or exaggerate its star rating) please!

art is how you feel but my comments on this map aren't about art. it's about what it symbolizes. everyone complained about wafer maps and "bad slider maps" to the point where they are given a map that they are forced to hate. but yet they can't just say something beyond "it is bad" and "doesn't represent the song", because that would mean there is such a thing as objective representation, which most maps (not just aim/stream farm) do not follow. challenging the playerbase's biases in a time where players are becoming more vicious due to being anonymous online is what makes me consider it the most deserved ranked of 2024.
i am upset that it was ranked a day before my birthday though
