spoiler for the map's ending but, when i jsut skim thru the map in the editor i was kidda disappointed that the climax for lastendcondictor is mapped in a pretty simple style when the rest of the map has all these fancy emphasises and stuffs but actually playing the map make it make sense it's like the lack of fancy but scary stuffs gives the end a lot of meaning too
love how the map has so much faith in the player with all the "bullshit" patterns that are giant combo killers, most maps at this length try to avoid that cuz they don't want the players to complain so they hit even harder than in average length maps, it kidda parallels the vn too which is prob unintentional but it's cool asf
what i mean is that u have sections like 20:50:848 (1) - taht uses only soft and then u have 21:18:084 (1) - using mostly normals and following the hitsounding style that i would expect this map to follow, but then 21:45:320 (1) - we are randomly back to only soft hitsounds?
it feels like only mirash and rue were on the same page for hitsounding (and i love them for that) but the rest were only like "claps on 2 and 4 and some whistles here and there" which makes the map feel really empty and lame. if mirash or rue hitsounded this kiai 12:43:555 (1) - it wouldve been so much better cuz rn theres nothing going on.
i need the normal hitnormals, whistles and finishes BLOW MY EARS and this map most of the time isnt doing it :(
