or well good at placing patterns this is why trigger happy moe 128000 is the best map in osu because pattern only is ok for no vocal song

i think they dont feel awkward to play and the rhythm in them not really standout but i like hanzer maps when they dont feel like pastiche of cool stuff from other mapper at the time or like this because hanzer is really good at patterning

I like hanzer maps cuz they feel awkward to play and have fucked up rhythm but they aren't completely abrasive so I think you are correct but it's why it's good and not bad

And if these engines fail

like the map is look like more freeform approach to visuals design bbut the patterning and rhythm and the things more immediately felt in gameplay just feel too rigid at time like with the kiai being same rhythm repeated or like stuff like this 02:07:521 (1,2,3,1,1,1,1,1,2,3,1,1,1) - thats like the coolest pattern ever but nothing devel;op in the map between the two instances of it they r like same exact rhythm same spacing same amount of difficulty to read just nothing change and then boom new part of screen and everythiung for new pattern starting 02:09:991 (1) - and then the rhythm is just the exact same still

i think i dont like the rhythm in this map or to what do i attribute this to like stuff like this 01:16:521 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,1,2,1,1,2,1,2,1,1,2,1,1,2,3,1,2,3,4,5) - is best patterning ever but like there's no build up of intensity within this it's just like the same pattern twice copypasted without an increase of spacing or like shift in rhythm between the two and thfen momentum dropped on this 01:20:580 (1,1,2,3) - (from the previous slider patterns that got overlap shit going on) which is like ok whatever but then the next pattern 01:21:109 (1,2,3,4,5) - doesn't even take that into account at all it just starts in a completely new part of the screen like it doesnt climb back up from the drop in moment um (tapping + visual density) or like tries do do something and like the whole map is like this its like it just forgets what pattern was put 1 second prior but i like how this map is designed visually its really cool

this could be a 4.5 if hanzer mapped the entire thing
