i kidda disagree on the patterns not being built on each other thing cuz a lot of the pattern of this maps are parodying either with an older itteration of itself or it's parodying another map. in the context of the song being a giant reference parody i think it make sense. with that said tho the map's constant use of rest sections fucks with that idea, even if those rests helps with the map's gameplay a lot (or at least make the make more accessible)
tbf cuz of the effect on the melody synth the impacts of the sounds are superrrr delayed, based on previous sections tho i think this is the artist's intended rhythm
okok i looked into it again the kawasaki rose is much easier to convert into a pentagon than i thought maybe ill try to fold it today and see if the model turns out like the picture
dude im going insane trying to find the origami model for the rose in this background, at first i thought it's the naomiki sato's pentagon rose, since it has 5 big petals and looks complicated asf, but then i noticed the giant bub hole in the middle and that's not common at all, i then thought it's a pentagon version of the kawasaki rose which has a big bub in the middle but i don't think it exist??????? but then i thought it's the naomiki sato's rose again because of a little thingy in the petals and whoever folded this didn't do the core shaping step properly so the bub is massive, it's a bit similar to what this guy did i think? https://youtu.be/7kZdwCFFvWE but gksgdkdgdks the rose still looks too complicated compare to the picture. reverse search the image only bring out dead links arrrrrr why do i care so much it's just a bg on a map i haven't even played properly yet
i think it's fine that the map have a big reading component cuz like it's whole purpose is to be a training map for very low bpm streams, and reading and finger control is the hardest part about them
i like both this map and hollow wings' ver, they both try to achieve the same goal, one do it more bluntly (this map) the other do it more gently (hw's), people might think one method is superior to the other but i think both are cool

mapping tool's hitsound studio just looooves spamming green lines for 0 reasons, it's hitsound copier is like that too but a bit less bad
