i kinda love how much people underestimate the thought that went into old maps and their creation
@pajwoj Scorpiour is literally the worst example u could use for this, hes Literally a Community Figure of mapping back in the day and would try to promote those who thought were the best in the game
its obviously a quintessential elvis map tho and like this style would get to influence most of the 2018-19 mapping meta Alongside the stuff elvis also did under his Jounzan name
but i cant stop feeling like its a bit overrated and more visual oriented than stuff like Nageki no Mori or Ryokugan which are just better maps to me and some of the top maps in the game ever for me
i mean u can clearly see and feel while playing that map uses most of its difficulty budget in the 1st kiai and the slow part after to the point where most choruses and the guitar solo just starts feeling too easy and it just becomes a "do you vibe to this song" type of map
