a specialty map, i think it's not for everyone but i love that this map doesn't try to follow the music strictly and decides to be an additive, accompanying component for it. so unique

a bygone age where, when a novice mapper was faced with a blank canvas and had no clue what to do, they found their way by mapping not with their eyes but with their ears, their hands, and their heart. but all that aside, 100pa- uploaded this map a month after he made his account.

this is really good for a first map, especially for the time, but it just does not age at ALL. The map is really bad - even in 2010s standards - and does nothing unique.

from i have actually experienced that year, this is the map that bundles the histories below:
- the ancient war between chinese mapper stan w/ 'innovate mapping ideas' and western MAT group stan w/ 'rigid stereotype towards mapping'
(im not commenting which side is good or not but these were actually the principle how they divided groups)
- inventing rhythms by heavy usage of hitsound, which is nowhere to recite in the song. it's probably inspired from taikosu maps. however this actually influenced a ton of later maps.
- 3 different difficulties in 3 different mapping method by one people in one set, and all 3 difficulties gives a unique but authentic sense by the same song. this is nothing fresh at present while in 2010, mappers were usually branded by their distinct styles. they wouldn't easily change styles back then, even in a single spread.
- peak loads of 100pa- worshiping for breaking the meta of pre-2010 mapping. as one who lived in the old chinese mapping group i'd say mapping nerds treat mapping a bit too different from players.

i already have commented on this map, and revisiting the map it's still really creative and fun but i can't help but feel at some parts the map + hs kinda sabotages the song, especially when 100pa- goes full on with the thump sound in the middle. still really like it tho, but it's totally understandable why this could miss the mark entirely for some.
