i can't believe 3 bns thought the ending was egregious enough to be vetoed it's easily the highlight of the map for me [2]

expected to hate it due to song choice but its a lot better than all the other ones for sure [2]

game over mapped by fart

05:52:084 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - map throws so much crazy nonsense in your face for six minutes before this. a section built around a pattern this simple + intense is like a laser beam shooting u right between the eyes

its good

dont forget what they took from you

if u put a pp counter in your beatmap twitter preview i will demolish you

if you want your map to become synonymous with the song, or make it a vessel for some greater idea, you do it through presentation. juxtaposition of this breezy, smoky, laid-back pop song with this diffname and this photograph of a riot gives a weird feeling of mystery and dread. i can't speak on what it all means - i am not well versed on indonesian history - but i don't think anyone needs to be for this map to immediately make a lasting impression on you, ESPECIALLY when that theme of unrest steps out of the map's metadata 02:56:713 (2) - and into the objects themselves. through a few well-placed signifiers, players get one lasting notion: something terrible has happened

+1 akiyama mizuki
