beautiful work. natural and graceful. like fanzhen's best work has always been, but i mean it here more literally; it feels like some living entity inhabits the space between the objects of this map. its true form is unknowable, but its presence is striking and unmistakable. as if you're witnessing something much bigger than yourself unfold right in front of you.

Taitou no Suika is, and i truly mean this, a spiritual experience. i expect all of you to pay tribute

semi copy-pasting what i've said on twitter because i find it interesting

playing this map reminds me of a contemporary art exhibition ive been at when i was at Montpellier at MO.CO. art center.
it's called "Between the lines. Art and literature", and it was focused on how comments of an artwork helps on completing the piece.
i feel fanzhen's personal story on this map definitely helps me on understanding this map, especially its rhythm choice.
despite i don't think it's a very outstanding work skill-wise (all the expression methods here "fit the song" to their best), i think it still serves a good showcase of how literal description/critism can help shaping an artwork

this map has great ideas and the execution is really good, but I think the idea doesn't really make for a fun experience on the second go round

fantastic on the first playthrough but imo one of the least replayable maps in the game

funnily enough, mikazuki is the exact opposite where it's a map that only really does anything through replayability
