tasteful rhythm choice, decent visual design, p groovy movement-wise. not bad !! i dont think that i can rly criticize much here at the scope of the map itself
beyond that, the one thing i will say is i think most edm is usually really hard to express feeling with in maps (and that this map like a lot of others struggles with that). its not a fault of the genre or map(per)s necessarily and more with the emotional experiences that edm tends to prioritize: conviviality, exhilaration, immersion (being "lost in" and "letting go"), and spontaneity.
these are things that mostly end up being a natural part of Experiencing Osu as a whole (regardless of the song!) due to the game's inherent choreographic nature. at least to me, osu is very dopamine-inducing already from the feeling of movin your arms and hands within space in time to the beat of the music.
the thing about it is that the contexts edm was built around come at the cost of expressivity allotted to the mapper. being designed for mass gatherings and with the intent on being as *accessibly* danceable as possible (i.e. perhaps at the cost of a wider range of dynamics, rhythmic qualities, and sound palettes), it takes a lot of effort to convey that Vibe effectively when osu is a much more individualized and almost directly-communicative setting?
i know all of the above probably comes across as very pretentious and wordy, but ive been trying to articulate some form of this idea for a while to explain why maps of this kind don't *do* something for me like other maps--i think its genuinely a matter of song choice limiting possibilities that would be more evocative of a wider range of emotional experience. thats just me tho ^^
