Sakuya-'s reviews

For a map considered to be avant-garde, not many posterior works have been that influenced by Notch Hell. While "too difficult" complaints were simply a matter of skill issue and people have gotten a lot better at the gimmick thanks to being forced to play stuff by Halgoh or Sharu, there are a few sliders that do not play well to this day, and its none of the "really long" ones, which I rather enjoy aiming.

EX EX was perceived at the time as the ultimate middle finger from HW to the community, a statement that they could do whatever they wanted on the editor and would always find a way to get nominated and ranked. In a sense it was very ahead of its time.

To this day, this is a map that stands out to me for one reason alone. Hollow Wings claimed to have spent nearly a thousand hours mapping it, yet it plays no different than something knowledgeking would make. No, the "sliders that are fast for their period of time" does not save this work.

FFFanatic is the proof that talented work could exist despite the vast limitations of the early editor.

Insanely ahead of its time. Yes, this was made in 2013.

It feels illegal to have not only this one, but many sets with such a stacked lineup of Rin, Skystar, RLC and sometimes even Nold. NatsumeRin is to this day one of the most underappreciated mappers this game has had.

This is arguably THE best map of 2016 and the magnum opus of many of the members of this collab.

Hands down, RLC's best work. An absolute must-play.

Caren_sk's first ranked map which encapsulates what he was about as a mapper without any extra frills or oversteps. Fun aim, really well executed.

RLC's diff is also really fun to play by itself and would easily stand as the sets highlight if there wasn't such disparity in star rating.
