oooo boi new r3m gd, and this time's a record high @ 13 stars knocking out BOTH his ranked GD & Ranked set as his highest starred ranked map. im gonna be honest, i just dont think R3m really has the sauce in him while making this. This thing feels really bland. it's not chaotic and doesn't ooze enough personality like his justice theme of psychopath. it's not tightly structured enough in a way that manages to rival his aureole triumph. as far as i can see, there are only two types of patterning in this map. its either the 5 pointed flowe-like pattern or just straight-up linear 90 degree right angle orientation. which makes the map quite uninteresting to look at since after the 30 second mark you basically have seen what the map has to offer. and plus the fact that this song really isn't helping the map with camellia pulling the "pause, stop, pause, stop every 2-4 seconds" gimmick ina lot of the section other than kiai. which just makes just the option to think of new patterns much more challenging. what made VVelcome, Bloomin, Aureole Triumph so good is that the patterns are TIGHTLY structured, yet they are VARIED enough for it to be an engaging viewing experience because it's not just stars, linear copy & paste. it also has triangle, subtle symmetry, pattern evolution, blanketing.
