Such a flawed map in many ways. A lot of the slow parts fall extremely flat, and the kiais are almost trying to not map jumps; almost as if to keep the speed identity of the map homogenous.

Despite all this, you need to thank the guy for not making the speed parts one big homogenous stream, as would many maps do in that time and in the next 10 years. The kick slider patterns punch very hard. And the last kiai makes all the boring parts almost worth it. Just almost.

An 8.8 star metal map that underplays its hand, quite a bold move honestly. Just making you wish it did it less.
