too lazy to look at this example cause osu maps take 10 minutes to download but in general I have noticed this so much as of late. in particular kickslider usage felt a lot smarter and more intentional back in the day, with kicks that end on strong sounds and it feels like cum every time. now kicksliders are reduced to I want to map a jump and also fill nothingburger rhythm and it makes me kind of sad

i like the thing that they used to do with rhythm like shit like this 01:51:634 (1,2,3,4) - where slider ends were equivalent in strength to clickables it allowed 4 a lot of fun variety with patterning and how the brain and left hand and ears and eyes and all that shit interacted while playing game probably pishifat or something told people to stop doing this ruined my mother fucking game i join 2014 but i miss 2011 osu map so much bro shit was so good back then fuck bro like bro fuck
