the start of my taiko conquest
This map does an adequate job at representing the song, it's just a bit plagued by 2020 me absolutely hating sharp angles and forcing the jumps to be more uncomfortable. The cut streams are also not ideal. Though I think I achieved what I set out to do.

3/5 i would probably like it more now if it was more flow aim instead

This map is surprisingly decent to play even though I threw in quite a bit of uncomfortable things, but I think they got balanced out by the large circles.
But because it's actually playable I appreciate it a lot more than I used to. The small instances of neat playfield usage is also nice, separating patterns on the left and right.

4/5 hard carried by hitsounds
also people really like the hard diff idk why lol

Everything in this map is so deliberate I'm still shocked that 2019 me can produce something like this.
The playfield usage is really nice. Gradual shifts from 1 side to the opposite, object repetitions in the intro and outro, restricting the objects to the centre 1/3 during the verses and jumping out on the strong hits; I'm still proud of these concepts.

5/5 would not change a thing

honestly a really solid and expressive 8* map

not too familiar with this style and song combo but i love this

im too boomer to enjoy modern tech maps man 😭😭😭

design and rhythm choice is pretty decent but the only reason i voted 5 is cuz THE FUCKING MOVEMENT OMFG MMMM

im noticing this strange phenomenon that if you're experienced enough any patterns you put in just works

i feel like patterns on this map should sound off some alarms in my head but no they just work well idk how
