tbh i typically dont care for cs7 stuff but i kinda dig the idea of this just nowhere near executed as well as it should be

i.e. why is the spacing following both the main vocal 01:59:795 (1,1,1) and the backing vocal 02:08:266 (1) at the same time it doesnt feel good :(

yea the more i look... 03:17:266 (1,2) spacing reduction clearly following guitar then fails to keep the idea 03:17:707 (4,1,2) - im not mad im just disappointed

think the map would be at least ok if it was cs 5 or sth, many choices that would've been ok on big circles just doesn't work on cs 7, the kicksliders are the obvious ones but there's stuffs in the streams that doesn't work too

the way the solo is mapped is extremely dissapointing. like we are just ignoring the guitar for drums. the rest of the map is pretty uninspired as well imo

it's just an average stream map but cs7

Mediocre map but cs4: 2.64
Mediocre map but cs7: 1.38

not only is this an "average" (bad) stream map but also picks a cs that demands design choices to accommodate it (either re: playfield traversal or just generally clustering patterning more tightly) and then doesn't do them

also, people who tend to rate ctrl shift f slop poorly don't even click on songs called The Glorious Dragon Valley of Power or whatever but they will click on shimotsuki haruka songs to rate them

also don’t see what this adds that the lasse map doesn’t other than giga spacing

The better I get at playing precision, the more I’ve started to feel that you could take any random cs4 map that’s already good and make it cs7 without really affecting its quality as a map. I don’t find that anyone making their map “for” cs7 has does anything particularly special to improve their maps. In fact I find people doing stuff like this to be the reason a lot of precision maps are unfun to play. For this map in particular I think it’s mid because it’s just a mid map not because it doesn’t do the cs7 things or whatever. Though I know this isn’t a popular opinion regarding precision maps and most ppl think differently probably?

All of that said, I wish we had more NM precision maps overall, even the ones like this.

ngl the thing with kickslider i kinda agree is a bit too jumpscare and in hindsight i woulda modded it out

i do genuinely believe the map has the circle size in mind during its creation, it would not have been mapped the same if it was cs4 or 5, but ppl's criticisms here are valid. yes i am spineless

@KnightC0re no, but i just dislike (conventional) stream mapping, I think its boring as fuck, there are only a handful maps in which I think they're executed well but even then it still bores me lol
